How Strong Is Microcement?

Microcement is a surprisingly strong and durable decorative coating, comparable to other hard surfaces, offering resistance to heavy foot traffic, abrasion, scratches, stains, and impacts, especially when properly installed with a waterproofing membrane and sealant.

While not indestructible, its thinness and flexibility make it a resilient option for both residential and commercial applications, and damage can often be repaired more easily than with traditional materials.

Microcement has an MPA strength of 20 – 80 MPA, depending on what product has been used and where it was installed. Walls and ceilings will have a lower MPA strength, while floors will have a much higher MPA strength.
