How Often Should You Re-Seal Microcement?

Different types of sealers have different lifespans. For example, some acrylic sealers last 1–3 years, while epoxy and polyurethane sealers can last 5–10 years. You should re-seal Microcement every 2 to 3 years for high-traffic areas, or as needed if you notice signs of wear like a loss of shine, darkening when wet, or increased staining.

For less-used decorative applications, resealing might be less frequent. The frequency depends on usage, but regular resealing maintains the protective and aesthetic qualities of the surface.

Resealing Schedule

High-Traffic Areas:
Every 2 to 3 years to maintain protection and shine.

When Needed:
As soon as you see signs of wear, such as a dull finish, darkening when wet, or staining.
